The Smelter track, set in Michigan, was my track within the game.
I took the basic track layout from the design team and then whiteboxed and prepared the track for the outsource team in Kuala Lumpur. This included:

I took the basic track layout from the design team and then whiteboxed and prepared the track for the outsource team in Kuala Lumpur. This included:
- documented the textures needed for the track itself and their creation process
- looked through the photo reference taken on a resource trip to select the assets required
- created the whitebox models
- documented the assets for the outsource team
When the track came back from the outsource team I was responsible for:
- fixing any errors
- repositioning assets - including re-doing the tree placement
- adding all the groundcover
- adding all the crowds
- setting up all the various race routes
- building, texturing and adding some more 'makeshift barriers'
- optimisation
- getting the track to the performance levels required
