My main work on the game was to create the Town Level Pt1. The level was a series of trenches lined with abandoned cars leading to a broken, bombed out building. I've included the concept art I was given to work from in the screenshots below so you can compare them to my final modelled and textured environment.

I built and textured the buildings, concentratiing on creating interesting silhouettes for them when seen against the sky. This means they have lots of broken floorboards, walls and exposed wood beams. These buildings were then used in the level sections both preceding and following my level. I also used and created lots of debris to line the trenches - wooden posts, barrels, corrugated metal sheets, tyres. By giving them appropriate sound effects it created varied and immersive audio as the enemy bullets hit the various objects as well as the mud of the trench.

Since the enemy patrol routes were set I made sure there were destroyable objects set between them and the player character so that when the firefights began these objects would destroy in an impressive way. There were destroyable vehicles, old televisions, abandoned washing machines as well as the destructable walls that I made as part of the buildings.

I also helped in the placement of objects in the Town Level Pt2 as well as suggesting some ways to vary the trenches, such as the sewer pipe that is partially destroyed.
